Flex Edge Beater fits KitchenAid®
Free tracked shipping worldwide
Compatible with KitchenAid® stand mixers. Choose your version: stainless steel for 4.5–5 Qt tilt-head mixers, or classic white for 6 Qt bowl-lift mixers.
A beater with a flexible silicone edge that scrapes the sides and bottom of your bowl while it mixes. No more stopping mid-recipe to scrape by hand.
Pick the one that fits your mixer:
- Stainless steel – 4.5–5 Qt tilt-head. For mixers where the top tilts back (Artisan, Classic, Ultra Power).
- Classic white – 6 Qt bowl-lift. For mixers where a lever lifts the bowl up.
Not sure which you have? If the top of your mixer tilts back, choose stainless steel. If you raise the bowl with a lever, choose classic white. Both versions are on this page, so select yours from the options above.
Why stainless steel? (tilt-head version)
The tilt-head beater body is solid brushed stainless steel instead of coated metal. There's no coating to chip, flake or wear off into your batter. It keeps its finish wash after wash, it's built to last as long as your mixer, and its sleek curves finish the premium look of your KitchenAid.
Classic white (bowl-lift version)
The bowl-lift beater has a white non-stick coated body with a grey silicone edge, made to match the classic look of your 6 Qt mixer.
Please note: the bowl-lift version does not fit the KitchenAid Professional or Heavy-Duty range. Most KitchenAid mixers aren't from these ranges, but if your mixer's model name says Professional or Heavy-Duty on the side strip, it won't fit.
Fits these mixers:
- Stainless steel (tilt-head): Artisan, Classic, Ultra Power (K45, KSM75, KSM90, KSM95, KSM100, KSM110, KSM150, KSM155)
- Classic white (bowl-lift): KitchenAid 6 Qt bowl-lift mixers, excluding Professional and Heavy-Duty

Frequently asked questions
Which version fits my stand mixer?
If the top of your mixer tilts back, you need the stainless steel version (4.5–5 Qt: Artisan, Classic, Ultra Power). If you raise the bowl with a lever, you need the classic white version (6 Qt bowl-lift). Both are on this listing, so pick the one that matches your mixer.
What's the difference between the two versions?
The main difference is fit: tilt-head or bowl-lift. The tilt-head version has a solid brushed stainless steel body. The bowl-lift version has a white non-stick coated body. Both have the same flexible silicone edge that scrapes the bowl while you mix.
Does the bowl-lift version fit Professional or Heavy-Duty mixers?
No. It fits standard 6 Qt bowl-lift mixers only. Check the side strip of your mixer. If it says Professional or Heavy-Duty, this version won't fit.
Can I use it for bread or pizza dough?
No. Use your dough hook for heavy doughs. The flex edge beater is for batters, creaming and frosting.
Is the silicone edge food safe?
Yes. On both versions the edge is BPA-free flexible silicone, safe for food contact. The color might slightly vary from the. product images.
Does it replace my standard flat beater?
For most cake batter, cookie dough, creaming and frosting, yes. It does the same job while scraping the bowl as it mixes.
How do I clean it?
The stainless steel body wipes clean easily. We recommend hand washing both versions to protect the flexible silicone edge and, on the white version, the non-stick coating.
