Care

Hand wash only — do not put in the dishwasher or soak in water. Dry immediately after washing. Re-oil every 3–4 weeks with food-grade mineral oil to maintain the wood.

Frequently asked questions

Will this bowl fit my tilt-head KitchenAid mixer?
Yes. It fits all 4.5 Qt and 5 Qt tilt-head models (K45, KSM75, KSM90, KSM150 and similar). It does not fit bowl-lift mixers.

Does it lock in like the original bowl?
Yes. The stainless steel locking base attaches exactly the same way as the standard bowl.

Can I use it with the beater, whisk and dough hook?
Yes. It works with all your attachments, just like the original bowl.

Is a wooden mixing bowl safe for food?
Yes. It's finished with a food-safe oil. Hand wash it and re-oil occasionally to keep the surface sealed.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?
No. Hand wash only, dry it promptly, and never soak it, so the acacia doesn't swell or crack.
