Please note: the bowl-lift (round base) version does not fit the KitchenAid Professional or Heavy-Duty range. Most KitchenAid mixers aren't from these ranges — but if your mixer's model name says Professional or Heavy-Duty, it won't fit.

Care

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water or put in the dishwasher. Re-oil occasionally with food-grade mineral oil to maintain the bamboo.

Will this bamboo slider fit my KitchenAid mixer?
Yes for most models. Choose the square base for tilt-head mixers (Artisan, Classic, 4.5–5 Qt) and the round base for 6 Qt bowl-lift mixers.

Is bamboo strong enough to hold a heavy mixer?
Yes. Bamboo is lightweight but very strong, and easily supports a 10–12 kg stand mixer while it runs.

Does it protect the countertop?
Yes. The mixer's feet never touch the bench; the board glides on a smooth base, so stone, timber and laminate stay scratch-free.

How do I care for a bamboo slider?
Wipe clean, keep it out of the dishwasher, and re-oil occasionally with food-grade mineral oil so the bamboo stays smooth.

Bamboo or acacia — which should I choose?
Bamboo is lighter and the best value with a clean modern look. Acacia is denser and warmer. Both glide and protect the bench equally.
