The Acacia Wood Slider
Acacia is a dense, heavy hardwood with a naturally warm, golden-to-brown grain. No two boards look the same. On a kitchen bench it reads as a deliberate choice — something placed there because it looks good, not just because it's useful.
If you have warm-toned benchtops (stone, timber, marble with warm veining) or a kitchen that leans into natural materials, acacia fits. It's also the better option if you want the slider to double as a display piece — something that sits on the counter and looks intentional even when the mixer isn't in use.
The Bamboo Slider
Bamboo is technically a grass, not a wood, which makes it lighter than most hardwoods while still being strong enough to hold a heavy stand mixer. The grain is fine, pale, and consistent — it has a clean, almost Scandi look that works well in modern white or grey kitchens.
At $67 it's also $22 less than the acacia. If you want the same functionality without the premium and your kitchen has cooler tones, bamboo is the better choice.

Both sliders work identically. The choice is entirely aesthetic and budget. If you're unsure, bamboo is the safer bet — it fits more kitchen styles.
