A 5-quart stainless steel mixing bowl with a warm rose gold finish on the outside and plain stainless steel on the inside. It's designed to twist-lock onto your tilt-head mixer like the bowl it came with, so you get a second bowl for baking days and a softer, warmer look on your bench.

Compatible with KitchenAid® 4.5 Qt and 5 Qt tilt-head stand mixers. Not compatible with bowl-lift models.

Won't fit: bowl-lift mixers (Professional, Pro Line and Heavy-Duty models, and any mixer with a 5.5, 6 or 7 Qt bowl-lift bowl) or the 3.5 Qt mini models (KSM3311, KSM3316).

Quick check: if your mixer's head tilts back and the bowl twists onto a plate on the base, this bowl is for you. If your bowl sits on two arms and a lever raises it, you have a bowl-lift and this bowl won't fit. Not sure? Our guide on which KitchenAid® model you have walks you through it.

Care

Hand wash in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge, then dry straight away with a soft cloth to keep the rose gold finish bright. Skip steel wool and abrasive cleaners, which can scratch the surface.

Frequently asked questions

Will this bowl fit my mixer?
It fits KitchenAid® 4.5 Qt and 5 Qt tilt-head mixers, including the K45, KSM75, KSM90, KSM150 and KSM160. It does not fit bowl-lift mixers or the 3.5 Qt mini models.

Does it lock in like the original bowl?
Yes. It's designed to twist onto the clamping plate on your mixer's base, exactly like your standard tilt-head bowl.

Can I use my beater, whisk and dough hook with it?
Yes. It's designed to work with the attachments that came with your tilt-head mixer.

Can it go in the dishwasher?
We recommend hand washing. It takes a minute and is the best way to protect the rose gold finish.

Does it come with a lid or pouring shield?
No. The bowl comes on its own.
